If you are coming from anywhere else in the country, you might think that the small town of Opp, Alabama, with just under 6,700 residents (2010 U.S. Census data), is a sleepy little place without a lot to do. You would be wrong. Opp has close connections to Nashville, with a number of folks making great contributions to country music history. The town also boasts a list of NFL big shots, including Mike DuBose, Tim Jessie, and James Logan. Perhaps that is why the town motto is "City of OPPortunity!"

Relocating to Opp is one of the easiest things you will ever do. Most find that the stars align to get them into a new home quickly. Folks in the area are friendly and ready to help, and the process of securing your new home is hassle-free. Many property owners don't even require an application.
Opp Neighborhoods
Northern Section: The biggest chunk of Opp is the northern section, which is relatively rural. It is easy to find places for rent, particularly if you are looking for a smaller single-family home or a one bedroom apartment. This area is home to the Frank Jackson State Park, which is right on Lake Frank Jackson. Bliss! Swimming, boating, and hiking are all within walking distance from your home.
Duvall: The Duvall neighborhood has many more small apartment buildings than the northern section, so it is a better bet if you are in search of a studio apartment for rent in Opp. Single-family house rentals are pretty simple to find, too, as long as you are in the market for two or three bedrooms.
Western Section: The western section of the city has a suburban feel, with opportunities to rent places that are on the smaller side. This is the neighborhood for golf lovers, as nearly all of the homes in this neighborhood are close to the Opp Country Club.
