The Zell is located at 1550 Sherman, just a half block north of the State Capitol building. The Zell is one of Capitol Hill's many fine Art Deco buildings with many period features preserved. The entry and lobby feature glass brick and chrome details, while the apartments feature a dressing area complete with built-in drawers and a dressing table, so typical of the era. The apartments have newer fixtures and appliances, and vinyl wood plank floors. Nice cats and dogs are welcome.
