Fully furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment on a 12-acre parcel of land on a quiet private road near the Cortez Airport. Ideal for one person.
Apartment is a self-contained mother-in-law unit with a separate entrance, full kitchen, and a parking area. It is attached to the main residence where I live full time with my partner. There is a small entry porch and a small patio along the side of the apartment with a privacy fence between the apartment yard and the main yard. There's a walking trail around the property with views of Mesa Verde, Sleeping Ute, and the La Platas.
Kitchen has gas oven and stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils, and some pots and pans. Bedroom has a double bed (one set of linens, pillows, and a blanket is included) and walk-in closet with a small stacked washer/dryer unit. Bathroom has spacious shower (no tub). One set of towels is included. The home was built in 2014 and is heated with radiant in-floor heating and has an on-demand water heater. There is a thermostat in the apartment unit.
Property is approximately 5 miles south of Cortez's main street, just north of the G Road and the municipal airport.
All utilities are included (internet, electric, water, gas, trash). Unit has a small flat screen TV with basic channels and DVD player. Can also connect to Netflix.
No pets. No smoking or vaping.

Must submit rental application. Tenant pays $55 background and credit check required through Avail. Tenant must also acquire renters insurance upon signing of lease.
