Apartment List Brand Ambassador 2025 Giveaway
OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Apartment List’s Brand Ambassador giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Apartment List, Inc. (the "Sponsor"), at 548 Market Street, PMB 79519, San Francisco, CA 94104. Any questions, comments, complaints or claims regarding the Giveaway must be directed to the Sponsor. The “website” means www.apartmentlist.com. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
By entering the Giveaway, each Entrant (defined below) unconditionally accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission and processing of entries, and the overall administration of the Giveaway. Entrants should look solely to Sponsor with any questions, comments, or problems related to the Giveaway. Sponsor may be reached regarding the Giveaway by contacting us by email at partnerships@apartmentlist.com.

ELIGIBILITY. The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, owners, shareholders, equity holders, officers, directors, and contractors of Sponsor and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible. Void outside of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER. The way to enter as an entrant (“Entrant”) to the Giveaway is to register as an Apartment List user through the Brand Ambassador registration link: https://www.apartmentlist.com/?utm_source=partnership_ASU_housingfair Sponsor retains ultimate discretion on whether an entry is valid.
ENTRY PERIOD. The Giveaway begins on February 14th at 9:00:00 am Pacific Time and ends on April 30th at 11:59:00 p.m. PT (the “Entry Period”). Entries must be received before the Entry Period end time to be valid. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for the Giveaway.
RESTRICTIONS. Automated or robotic entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification. Entrants must provide valid contact information so Sponsor can contact Entrant after the Giveaway.
DRAWING/ODDS. Winner of the Giveaway will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received throughout the Entry Period. One winner will be selected for the Prize. The random drawing will be conducted on or around May 1st, 2025 by Sponsor or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE. “Prize” is a $250 Amazon gift card. Prize cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The ARV of the prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items. The value associated with the prize is taxable as income. The prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income. The Sponsor must report the value of the prize to the Internal Revenue Service in the year the prize is received by the prize winner and will be reported to the prize winner and the Internal Revenue Service in the form of a Form 1099. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
WINNER NOTIFICATION. The winner will be notified by 5:00:00 pm PT on May 16th, 2025. Sponsor or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will also be emailed by May 16th, 2025, from the email partnerships@apartmentlist.com. Details will be confirmed by email at the email address provided in the online entry when registering within 30 days after the random drawing (the “Notification”). Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive Notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, the winner’s failure to check his/her mailbox or adequately monitor any email or social account. The potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, W-9 tax form, and where lawful, a Publicity Release (the “Paperwork”) within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the Notification. If the potential winner fails to return the Paperwork within 14 days after receipt of the Notification or is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, such potential winner and his/her entry will be disqualified and another potential winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries received. If the Notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email. If a potential winner rejects the prize, an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. The potential winner is subject to verification, including verification of age, verification of current residence and verification of residential rental obligations. If a winner cannot be verified, or if a winner is otherwise unable or unwilling to accept and claim the prize as stated, then the potential winner may be disqualified and the prize may be forfeited in Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate Entrant. No cash alternative or prize substitutions for any prize will be allowed, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to not give a prize or substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
WINNER LIST. For the name of the winner after the prize is awarded, email partnerships@apartmentlist.com or visit our website or mail your request with a self-addressed envelope to Sponsor at 548 Market Street, PMB 79519, San Francisco, CA 94104.
DISCREPANCIES. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Giveaway materials, including promotional materials and advertisements, our website’s Terms of Use, and these Official Rules, these Official Rules will control.
RELEASE. To the extent permitted by law, by entering the Giveaway, each Entrant and winner releases all employees, owners, shareholders, interest holders, officers, directors and contractors of Sponsor, and Amazon, subsidiaries, and parent companies (“Released Parties”) from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Giveaway, or acceptance or use of a prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
INDEMNIFICATION. To the extent permitted by law, by entering the Giveaway, each Entrant and winner indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Released Parties from any claims asserted by third parties against the Released Parties arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Giveaway, or acceptance or use of a prize.
PUBLICITY; ENTRANT’S PERSONAL INFORMATION. By entering the Giveaway, each Entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and in accordance with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://www.apartmentlist.com/about/privacy. If you are selected as a winner, your information may be included in a publicly available winner list, and used for purposes of advertising by Sponsor and as otherwise provided in these Official Rules and your Publicity Release, if applicable, without further consideration, and you consent to such uses and publicity.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Giveaway; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Giveaway; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to an entrant's or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Giveaway or download of any materials in the Giveaway. If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Giveaway in whole or in part. In such an event, Sponsor shall immediately suspend the drawing and prize award. Sponsor and Released Parties shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the Giveaway.
SEVERABILITY. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
GOVERNING LAW AND COURT VENUE. The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by US law and are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Giveaway and the Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and any matters or proceedings shall take place in the State of California, in the County of San Francisco. The Giveaway is conducted in English.
