City Guide for Hudson, FL

Way back in 1878, a man by the name of Isaac Hudson took his family to settle in the uninhabited area of coastal Pasco County and built a post office at a place he dubbed Hudson's Landing -- the first modern entity to exist in what is now known as the community of Hudson.

Hudson is not an incorporated town but what is known as a census designated place located in the farthest western section of the county of Pasco, Florida. It is also included in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. This gorgeous coastal community is located right on the edge of the Florida Gulf and is home to some of the most beautiful coastline in the state. At the time of the last U.S. Census in 2010, the population was just over 12,100. Hudson has a total land area of about 6.4 square miles with a small amount of water within its borders. What to keep in mind when looking for condos in Hudson, FL

Finding condos for rent in Hudson is almost no different than renting an apartment in a big complex. The real difference is the ownership. Condos are owned by individuals within the same building. However, apartments in a large complex are owned by a single landlord or property management group.

Sometimes the price of condos in Hudson may prove cheaper. The owners are often moving onto a new home or leaving the city and just need someone to cover the costs. Apartment complexes are designed to deal with tenant issues, make repairs, and care for the property. Condo owners will still deal with repairs and upkeep but may need more time to address a problem, especially if they don’t live nearby. However, condo owners have a more vested interest in the property and keeping their tenants happy to reduce turnover.

Choose the best condos for rent in Hudson that meet your wishlist for budget, amenities, and layout. You probably won’t notice the difference between the condos and apartments you tour.
