First on the list is breathtaking Toccoa Falls. Located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa Falls is a must-see Toccoa experience. Boasting a vertical drop of 186 feet, Toccoa Falls is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River.
Currahee Mountain is home to challenging hiking terrain complete with biking trails. Translated to "stands alone,"Currahee Mountain is the historical site of the US Army's first Parachute Infantry Training Center, Camp Toccoa. Subject of the HBO miniseries, Band of Brothers, Camp Toccoa gives visitors a glimpse into the history of the United States Air Force.
Golf players can enjoy their niche by visiting Toccoa's immaculate Currahee Golf & Country Club on Lake Hartwell.
