This town was named after a railroad conductor named Earl Chubbuck. He was in charge of loading railroad cars with agricultural produce from the area. All produce in the area was loaded on to the trains at the Chubbuck Siding.
The area was home to Blackfoot Indians long before settlers arrived. Famous mountain man John Fremont surveyed the area and deemed it good for agriculture, but most settlers passed through on their way to Oregon or California. The towns didn't start to take shape until the railroad came through. Massive sugar beet farming led to the construction of the Chubbuck Siding, used to load the sugar beets onto the railroad, and the town eventually grew up around this activity. Essentially a suburb of the larger Pocatello, it's home to about 14,000 people, at the time of the 2010 U.S. Census. At the intersection of Interstates 86 and 15 and bisected by U.S. Highway 91, it remains a transportation hub. View Chubbuck City Guide
Looking for 3 bedroom apartments in Chubbuck provides more space for multiple roommates sharing costs, or a family looking to settle in. Look for apartments that fit your lifestyle with proximity to green space, restaurants, entertainment, or quality schools.
Take your time when considering the layout during a tour of 3 bedroom apartments. Some bedrooms may be smaller than the others. This could work out well for roommates who want to adjust their share of the cost depending on who gets the largest and smallest bedroom. If you’re renting the entire space for yourself, make sure the rooms work well for the configuration you’re looking for, including a main bedroom, guest room, and office.
Consider the outdoor space when renting 3 bedroom apartments in Chubbuck. A larger apartment may come with both a balcony off the living room and Juliet doors in the main bedroom. A small yard out back, rooftop terrace, and other outdoor amenities may also be available.
