Long Grove also enjoys three distinct festivals that include the Strawberry Festival, Chocolate Festival and Apple Festival. Each festival offers a wide variety of foods that focus on the theme of the festival. There is plenty of live music, drinks and outside activities available for all ages.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy in the surrounding cities of Long Grove. The other locations are very close to Long Grove and make for a great weekend or everyday fun.

Buffalo Grove is within walking distance and offers K1 Speed, an indoor kart racing facility that has state-of-the-art European cars for tons of fun. If you have always enjoyed go-kart racing this place offers a day of driving without having to don bulky overalls or smelly helmets. The remote-control access for the cars makes them ideal for novices, young riders or beginners.

After a day of racing, you can spend time at the beautiful lakeside community of Lake Zurich. Lake Zurich is a little farther, but offers a variety of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, water sports and a large indoor play place.

If you feel like spending an afternoon in the sun you can head over to Diamond Lake Beach and enjoy a day of bike riding, swimming or a picnic.
