Marlow Heights is an unincorporated area and census-designated place located in Prince George's County, Maryland. With a population of just 5,618 as of the 2010 census, it's certainly small, and might be more accurately called a neighborhood or suburb, but it's located within the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria metropolitan area, and a drive of less than 30 minutes will put you right in the heart of DC.

Marlow Heights Apartment Communities

Princeton Estates: These apartments are popular because they're pet-friendly, with large comfortable apartments, already fitted with some amenities, and conveniently located for driving and traveling by bus.

Marlow Heights Apartments: These units are intended to be both comfortable and affordable, and for those who prefer to spend as little time as possible on housework, many units come with dishwashers included. Phew!

Marlow Gardens: Part of Marlow Plaza, which includes a separate apartment complex called the Tower Building, these units are garden-style apartments. It's right next to the Marlow Plaza Shopping Center, and there's plenty of available parking too, a bonus for those who commute to work by car.

Living in Marlow Heights

Marlowe Heights is home to a couple of shopping centers and plenty of other retail necessities, but there's admittedly not much in the way of entertainment and leisure activities. However, since it's so close to the Metro area, you're never going to find yourself short of things to do.

Route 414, on which Marlow Heights is situated, is a direct route to National Harbor, a 300-acre waterfront development near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on the Potomac. It's a fantastic place for shopping and leisure--plenty of scope for some retail therapy, plus a marina, night-time entertainment spots, and all kinds of special events, including annual festivals, and live music in the summertime.
