It is pressed up against Spa Creek and many of the area's pretty little coves and water nooks, and it's also home to the Banneker-Douglas Museum and the Maryland State House. You can taste some of the local seafood at the lovely Old Stein Inn or Bayside Inn.
Eastport: Exactly as the name suggests, this area is the easternmost point of Mayo's many ports. You'll find mostly residential housing here along Chesapeake Avenue and the surrounding side streets.
Highland Beach: This area is popular with vacationers in the Summertime. It includes the beautiful Oyster Creek and Cherrytree Cove and is full of rental property right on the water!
