Onizuka Village: This is another energy-efficient area, since all the homes are LEED Silver Certified. So it stands to reason that this is also the newest neighborhood in Hickam Housing. If you want a home that still has that new house smell, there's no need to look anywhere but here.

You won't find tons of shopping malls and chain restaurants within walking distance of Hickam Housing. No, instead you'll find enticing sandy beaches just outside your community, because this is Hawaii! If you should ever get tired of sunbathing, swimming, surfing, or generally just living the life, you can walk on over to Planet Smoothie, Wright Brothers Caf, or the Hickam Par 3 Golf Course to relax a little more.
