The townhome community of Bermuda Landing has a nice size community pool and a dock to fish from or set out a crab trap for a special treat with dinner. You can even put in a flat bottom boat right into the morass to investigate the salt marsh and be eye to eye with a blue heron or see the river otters play. The Atlantic Ocean is just a block and a half away, a 2-minute walk to the closest public beach access. All you need to do is head straight down 11th street and you are at the Ocean! You can’t get more wholesome than allowing your family the pleasure of the beach all day and helping to contribute to dinner later that afternoon. The entire home is decorated in white, grey, and navy blues. It’s such a pretty place. You can sit at the table and chairs on the front porch sipping your coffee and watching the pelicans soar by and the Island wake up. From the front porch you enter the home into the open floor plan living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is comfortable and relaxing with a well cushioned couch and two plush chairs. The smart TV is hung over the dining room table which seats 4. The alleyway style kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a quick meal before heading out to your next Island adventure. For your convenience there is a full-size washer and dryer on this floor as well as a full bathroom with step in shower. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed, smart TV, and private access to the back deck where you’ll find a bar height table with 4 seats and 2 lower Adirondack style chairs. Such a peaceful place to gather and reflect on the day, enjoy a good book or just sit quietly communing with nature. The second floor has a bunk bedroom as well as the master bedroom. There are 2 sturdy bunk beds (4 twin size mattresses) with drawers for storage underneath, the smart TV for the kiddos to enjoy is wall mounted. The master bedroom has a king size bed, smart TV, and a private deck with 2 tall chairs to take in the gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. The second-floor full bath has a combined bathtub/ shower. You will only be a 9-minute drive (about 5 miles) to the center of Surf City where you will find many privately owned gift shops and restaurants. In Surf City there are fun activities like the Topsail Escape Room and the EMA Touch Tank Aquarium. On the mainland side of Surf City is the well-known Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center that gives tours daily. Just over the high-rise bridge that connects N. Topsail Beach to Sneads Ferry you will find even more shops and restaurants as well as the closest grocery store (Food Lion, 5.9 miles).
