Pahrump is located in the high desert of Nevada. A short 60-mile drive to the east, you will find the fabulous city of Las Vegas. Take a wonderful day trip by driving 60 miles to the west and spending the day at Death Valley National Park. This town is growing very fast, but there's probably still room for you and your family. In 1980, the population was 2,000; today it is over 36,000. The weather is great most of the year, with July being the hottest month, sometimes reaching 100 degrees. (But it's a dry heat). When the winter months in other areas of the country get too cold, many snowbirds flock to Pahrump. View Pahrump City Guide
