Ever wanted to know someone living in Japan? Lucky for you, Horseheads has a relationship with a sister city of Nakagawa in Japan. Since 1990, Horseheads and Nakagawa have been participating in a relationship that sends students and adults to and from the U.S. and Japan to learn about the different cultures and much more.
The Village of Horseheads is located in the town of Horseheads, NY. The name is derived from the skulls of pack horses left behind by the Sullivan Expedition during the American Revolution. Although the exact date is not known, it is believed that the village of Horseheads was founded in 1830. At first, it was named the Village of Fairport because it was the home of an important port in New York; however, in 1886 it was renamed Horseheads. Today, the Village of Horseheads has a population of 6,461 at the time of the 2010 U.S. Census. View Horseheads City Guide
Looking for 3 bedroom apartments in Horseheads provides more space for multiple roommates sharing costs, or a family looking to settle in. Look for apartments that fit your lifestyle with proximity to green space, restaurants, entertainment, or quality schools.
Take your time when considering the layout during a tour of 3 bedroom apartments. Some bedrooms may be smaller than the others. This could work out well for roommates who want to adjust their share of the cost depending on who gets the largest and smallest bedroom. If you’re renting the entire space for yourself, make sure the rooms work well for the configuration you’re looking for, including a main bedroom, guest room, and office.
Consider the outdoor space when renting 3 bedroom apartments in Horseheads. A larger apartment may come with both a balcony off the living room and Juliet doors in the main bedroom. A small yard out back, rooftop terrace, and other outdoor amenities may also be available.
