Living in the Town Center means that you'll be close to the Otis Bike Preserve, where you can go hunting, fishing, hiking and biking (and work off some of that pizza that you ate in South Manor). The Town Center also boasts a low crime rate, so you will feel safe and secure.
Living in Manorville
There are two main attractions in the hamlet of Manorville. The first is the shrine of Our Lady of the Island. This shrine is situated on over 70 acres of carefully landscaped property, and draws many tourists each year.
The other is the Long Island Game Farm. Here, you can see different types of animals and enjoy lunch purchased at the farm, or you can carry your own in. Two tips: Manorville residents get a discount, and you may want to bring some bug repellent during the warmer months. Horseflies and mosquitoes congregate where animals roam, and the animals definitely roam here!
Living in Manorville means that you're in the center of Long Island, which is the most populated island in the continental United States. The hamlet itself is landlocked, but you're just a stone's throw from Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, so if you're not quite a landlubber, you'll find plenty to do.
If you want to head over to the Hamptons, you'll be able to enjoy white sandy beaches, including Cooper's Beach and Main Beach. If you're not quite ready for swimsuit season, go camping at Hither Hills State Park or check out the Long Island Aquarium.
