Browsing in Up, Up and Away Comics is an education in comic-media. Bright, light and contemporary, they carry a huge collection of back issues and new releases, games and toys.
Dine Out
Except for some Circle Ks and a fast-food place or two, there isn't much in the way of dining in Mack. If you're willing to drive a short distance, you'll be rewarded with some great eats.
Crave Restaurant works overtime. Great lunch food during the week but the Sunday Brunch, complete with Mimosas, is the star. Come later for the delectable seafood dishes and a dessert Sushi Roll called a Quingio.
For a night that will last long into the morning, go to Cincinnati's hottest spot -- Arnold's Bar and Grill. This is an original and the oldest bar in the city. Great creative food, live entertainment and Bourbon flights - you'll be back soon.
Get Outdoors
Get away from it all, but not too far away, at East Fork State Park. Just half an hour drive from Cincinnati, and overlooking the Ohio River's East Fork, camp, fish, hike and swim the day or the week away.
Getting Around
No car means no-go. Everywhere you'll want to go is a short drive. The closest Amtrak station is 8 miles from town in Cincinnati. Most drivers have a 28 minute commute; some days, and some hours, it takes longer. The closest passenger airport is Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport, 22 miles from Mack.
