Cassel Hills: Cassel Hills Municipal Golf Course, White Oak Shopping Center, and the Great Miami River Recreational Trail highlight this east and northeast neighborhood.
Poplar Creek: In the south, this neighborhood has easy access to downtown Dayton.
Living in Vandalia
People would fly everywhere if they could, but driving is just easier. The city is also known as The Crossroads, due to the crossing of Interstate-70 and Interstate-75 in town. At every corner, it seems like people are moving here, whether it be to go eat at Christy's Pizza, walk at Taylorsville MetroPark, or play at the Vandalia Recreation Center. However, there are times when the city sits still, but don't be fooled--it's ready to take flight at any moment.
