Honey Creek: In the south part of town and near the water, this 'hood showcases Honey Creek State Park, views of Neosho River, and Lendonwood Gardens. If you enjoy cabin living, this is a great spot. There are several resorts in this area as well. A car is advised if living here.

Carey Bay: This is where you'll find the most variety of housing. Eat at Catfish John's. Shop for a boat at Grove Marine. And take off into the water from Wolf Creek Park and Boat Ramp. This is the least walkable area in Grove.

Top Apartment Communities

Savannah Park of Grove: Spacious one and two bedroom apartments for rent and affordable prices are what's nice about this property near the center of town. You won't get tons of amenities, but you get a cozy environment.

GardenWalk of Grove II: Located on Mill Creek Drive, the GardenWalk property has one to four bedroom apartments. The complex features a community center, pads with all necessary appliances, and a laundry center.

Grove Village Apartments: You can rent one, two, or four bedroom apartments here. The location, near Carey Bay and all that water, is spectacular. Homes have a patio or balcony. If you are on a search for apartments, you can't go wrong with this property.

Living in Grove

The center of the city is where you'll have the easiest time getting around on foot or bike. However, the town is too spread out to get by without a vehicle. Grove is a driving city. A vehicle is also useful if you plan to travel to Tulsa or other nearby cities and towns.

Life in Grove centers around the lake. With so much to do there, it should. First, though, you must get a history lesson at the Har-ber Village; this charming village depicts what life was like here in the 19th century. Just don't get stuck in that time frame. You have to enjoy today. And today includes enjoying a view of the lake aboard The Cherokee Queen -- a true Grove riverboat. The fishing, of course, is tremendous. Stores like Magnolias T-Shirt and Souvenir Shop, Cheapo Depo, and Pink Parrot Fashion ensure you get quaint shops in addition to major retailers. And drinking holes like Jake's Sports Bar and the Iron Frog guarantee you can have fun after you say goodbye to the sun. You can try to win a fortune at the Grand Lake Casino after the bar closes. If want to enjoy a sweet garden, stroll through the Lendonwood Gardens, an absolutely stunning set of botanical gardens. You see. The lake is a big deal, but it's not everything.
