Exeter gets its name from across the pond: its namesake was an ancient city in England.

Consisting of five square miles, Exeter is a borough in Eastern Pennsylvania. Positioned in Luzerne County, it's part of the Greater Pittston-Wilkes Barre land area and located right next to the Susquehanna River.
