Expect the unexpected when living in Rogers. Although this isn’t a large metro area by any means, it offers plenty of opportunities to get out, have fun, and generally enjoy life. One of the best things about Rogers is its location – a small city that is literally 20 minutes from big city fun.
What’ll it Cost? Depending on your desires, property rentals in Rogers can be either downright cheap or a tad expensive. Compared to many other places in the country, it is on the cheaper end.
When Should I Start my Search? There can actually be a shortage of apartments for rent in Rogers – the downtown section often sees this problem. With 96% occupancy there, you might need to get your name on the waiting list for a popular building. For other areas, between two weeks and a month should be fine.
What you’ll need Getting a nest in Rogers requires the usual – a letter of employment or a couple of your last pay stubs and a check for the deposit. Fancier spots may ask for references as well.

Choosing which neighborhood to live in can be tricky – the best way to go about it is to consider your lifestyle and interests, and choose a place that suits them best.
Downtown: The downtown area of Rogers is a great place if you want to be within a short distance of great restaurants and an actual neighborhood feel. If you want to be able to walk or bike around town easily, anywhere in the downtown section is a good bet. Walnut Street is the main drag in town, but the entire downtown area offers up a lot of variety in the way of shopping and food. $$
Pinnacle Hills: This is the trendier place to be in Rogers. While Pinnacle Hills is lacking in history, it does offer up an attractive lifestyle for its residents. This is where a lot of the up-and-coming young professionals choose to live, and it is a decidedly more sophisticated part of town. There are some gated communities here, and many of the luxury apartments in Rogers are in the Pinnacle area. The center of attraction is the Pinnacle Hills Promenade, a sprawling shopping mall that attracts the well-heeled residents. Many people choose to live here because it is close to lots of the large employers in town. $$
Shadow Valley: If country club living is what you’re after, look no further than Shadow Valley. This is suburban living, Rogers style, and is a gated community of houses and townhouses situated around a golf course. Golf course living isn't for everyone – either you love it or you hate it – but it is alive and well in Rogers. Expect to pay a premium for places to rent in Rogers with backyards that flow onto the golf course. $$
Northwest Rogers: This part of town is kind of in-between, occupying the section north of Walnut Street and west of downtown. This is actually a great part of Rogers to be in – close to pretty much everything, but in a very residential setting. Rows of tree-lined streets filled with a good mix of single family homes make this part of town a good choice for those who want to be close to town but not in suburbia. $
Feel of the City Rogers is home to more Fortune 500 companies than anywhere else in the world. A lot of them have some sort of office here. This translates into heaps of people from other parts of the country moving here for work, bringing their lifestyles with them.
Eco Friendly Thanks to an influx of residents from Seattle, Portland, and other more trendy spots, Rogers has become a haven for living green. It even has a borrow-a-bike program in the summer – the smallest city in the country to offer this.
What to Do With the Razorbacks only 20 minutes away in Fayetteville, sports are a huge thing here. Head there for a football, basketball, or baseball game for plenty of excitement, as well as the trendy cafe-lined streets that Fayetteville offers.
To get closer to nature, head over to nearby Beaver Lake and Hobbs State Park – both located just east of town.
The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, just west of town in Bentonville, is a great spot for art lovers.
Getting Around
