West Salem

What it’s like to live in West Salem

Natural beauty surrounds West Salem renters, where apartments and townhomes often feature unexpected views of the Willamette River or distant mountains. The neighborhood's hillside position across the river from downtown creates a distinct community identity while maintaining quick bridge access to Salem's government employment center. Though winter brings significant rainfall requiring good waterproof gear, the area's elevated position reduces flooding concerns affecting riverside districts.
