Developed from a railroad intersection referred to as the Five Points, Clinton, South Carolina is located mere minutes from the main thoroughfares of I-385 and I-26. Yet, you'll never have to leave town to take a stroll through history, scarf down a fabulous meal, spend your hard-earned money in local shops or become a college-crazed sports fanatic.

You'll find more college students living in the Thornwell-Presbyterian College Historic District and more working folks living in the Clinton Commercial Historic District and Pine Haven Park areas.
Living in Clinton
If living in a town with a population under 10,000 gets to be, you knowtoo claustrophobic, you can always sneak out to a nearby major metropolitan center like Columbia, Greenville or Spartanburg in less than an hour's drive. For the history nerd, go get lost in one of 30 nearby Revolutionary War battle sites. Or, if golf is more your thing, perfect your swing (you know it needs work) at the Musgrove Mill Golf Course. The bookworm might even decide to broaden their knowledge and take a class or two at Clinton's Presbyterian College. Smarty pants.
