Due to staff misinformation I inadvertently opted for a third floor apartment. I have a medical condition that that makes climbing stairs quite difficult. It's been tortuous to get up and down my apartment unit. I have requested to be moved to a lower unit on medical grounds, but the apartment management requires that I pay additional $500 to $700 to move. This is funds that I can not currently afford. It seems that the only option I currently have is to remain in my unit until the end of my one year lease agreement. I feel like it's going to be an awful experience, but I have little choice presently. I would greatly appreciate it if the management would reconsider, and allow me to move to a lower floor unit, at no additional cost. Thank you for your consideration.
