Homestead Meadows South is a community just to the south of El Paso, Texas. Taking up just under four square miles of land, and with a population just over 7,000 individuals, there is a population of about 1,750 people per square mile in this census designated place. Weather in this part of Texas is quite beautiful year round, as even the winters here are nicely mild.
Moving to Homestead Meadows South

Neighborhoods in Homestead Meadows South
In Homestead Meadows South, there are no neighborhoods, as this is actually a neighborhood of the larger city, El Paso, to the northwest. Homestead Meadows North is, as you may have guessed, directly to the north of Homestead Meadows South. Rather than highlight the lack of neighborhoods, however, here is some information on the different apartment communities near Homestead Meadows South that offer places for rent, such as one-bedroom apartments:
Las Ventanas Apartments: This is resort-style living and they not only offer a 1-bedroom apartment, but also two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well, depending on your needs. Dick Shinaut Park is right next door to this complex.
The Bungalows at Hueco Estates: These apartments are also quite amiable. With a large community pool and many other amenities, you would be glad to call this your new lifestyle. El Asador and Gourmet 88 are nearby.
Villas at Zaragosa: This is another apartment complex with many of the amenities you would expect. Fitness room, laundry facilities, and a beautiful pool so that you can wash your clothes and look good doing so and maybe cool off in your downtime.
Living in Homestead Meadows South
Living outside of the 19th largest city in the United States has got to count for something. Maybe that you have 18 cities that are larger; but on a serious note, living in Homestead Meadows South, Texas is city life outside the big city with all of the amenities you would expect from city life, without being clustered on top of your neighbors and fighting through traffic. Estrella Park, Christy's Restaurant, and Alicia's Treasures are just a few of the things to do and see around town. After you run some laps around the park, you can go get something to eat at Christy's to refuel your body, and then head on over to Alicia's to pamper yourself with something for your home after your long day.
