Neighborhoods of Levelland
Levelland is a ruggedly beautiful little city that is slowly expanding, and if you are new here, it can be helpful to have an idea of what some of the neighborhoods offer as well as their locations. There are four different neighborhoods described below to help you visualize each and choose where you might begin your apartment search first. The town has a tight center and spirals out lazily in all directions, going from city to rural farmland before you know what has happened!
13th St. / FM Road 300: If you are looking for an apartment to rent in Levelland and you prefer to be located close to the center of town and the hub of activity, this is the neighborhood to suit your needs! It is easy to find small- to medium-sized rental houses as well as apartments with utilities included in the monthly rental price! This stable and well established neighborhood has many properties that were built between the 1940s and 1970s. Having said that, it must be stated that these properties have been lovingly tended, and in many cases, beautifully restored to reflect the personal pride of those who choose to call this area home. Levelland Country Club and the Levelland Municipal Airport are both located in this neighborhood, so whether it's a quick business trip or a leisurely round of golf, this area has you covered!
Lubbock Hwy. / Badger Ave.: On the east side of Hwy 385, sits this delightfully appealing suburban neighborhood. There are as many renters as there are homeowners in this neighborhood, so the prices are competitive and very reasonable for such a gorgeous area! Enlisting the help of a local apartment locator to assist in your search for the exact accommodations you require is an intelligent decision. There are quite a few subdivisions with manicured lawns and well-tended gardens that might catch your eye. However, if you prefer less yard maintenance, there is an assortment of apartment complexes to choose from with awesome amenities (pool, sauna, on-site fitness centers) that come standard.
Smyer / Opdyke West: Looking for a rental home in Levelland but don't want to be too close to the center of town? Not a problem! This neighborhood is considered remote because it stretches out like a wagon wheel from around the center of town. It is perfect for those who want easy access to the downtown area without having to deal with traffic, noise or light pollution given off from the businesses in the downtown area.
City Center: Apartments for rent are plentiful in this neighborhood. Levelland City Park and Northside City Park are practically within shouting distance of one another and provide the locals with a gorgeous place to retreat for a picnic, a game of frisbee or a brisk jog. There are 2, 3 and 4 bedroom rental homes available in this area, either as mobile homes or stand alone homes, and some offer all bills paid, so if that is an important stipulation for you, this neighborhood boasts a variety of choices in a range that will put a big grin on your face!
