Originally, the land that is now Sienna Plantation was once a part of Stephen F. Austin's "Old Three Hundred" settlement. Captains William Hall and David Fitzgerald settled their farms on the east bank of the Brazos River in 1824, but this property would change hands at least 5 times before it was finally developed into the gorgeous census designated place that it is today. This lush little town is located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Missouri City, about 40 minutes southwest of Houston off of Hwy 6. The entire town encompasses 16.2 square miles of heavily wooded forests that provide ample shade and unparalleled beauty for the residents to enjoy at their leisure.
