Golf is to Trophy Club what Ben is to Jerry and Dunkin is to Donuts. Developed in 1973, the concept for Trophy Club was that the anchor of the town, Trophy Country Club, would house golf legend Ben Hogan's extensive trophy collection.
Are you beginning to get the impression that this is a community where winners live? Once you find your ideal Trophy club studio apartment, maybe you should get a trophy of your own! Trophy Club is clean, community oriented, and is located just a short commute from Dallas and Fort Worth

Are you beginning to get the impression that this is a community where winners live? Once you find your ideal Trophy club studio apartment, maybe you should get a trophy of your own! Trophy Club is clean, community oriented, and is located just a short commute from Dallas and Fort Worth. Whether you're a social (golfing) butterfly or prefer to enjoy your tranquil surroundings not viewing them from a putting green, there's really nothing _not _to love about living in Trophy Club.
Moving to Trophy Club
Before you set out to search for the ideal apt for rent, you should be aware that Trophy Club is swanky. If you are in the market for an apartment, you will find options in the area. But most of them are luxury apartments that rent for more than you would pay for an apartment in a less-desirable area. The good news is that you get what you pay for (usually.) Yes, premier apartments will cost more. But they also come with amenities such as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, sparkling swimming pools, tennis courts and impeccably manicured grounds. In other words, if you move to Trophy Club, you can pretty much be certain that you're not living in a dump.
Do You Pass Muster?
To be clear, that is muster (not mustard like Col. Mustard in the Conservatory with the wrench). Do you meet the standards set forth by the apartment complex or townhouse? Landlords and leasing agents are especially careful to make sure that whomever they lease to will take good care of the place.
Of course, you will need to be prepared with a security deposit and first (and probably last) month's rent. This way, if you skip town in the night, leaving a hot mess in your wake, the ownership can hire a cleaning service and the Got Junk? guys to haul away your stuff. But let's be real here. This is Trophy freakin' Club. This is not the type of place that people abandon in the night. Once you find an apartment, you're likely begging the agents to let you sign the longest lease available.
Also be prepared in case you are asked to provide references from past landlords and a credit and employment history. Don't be offended if you are asked to submit a criminal background check, either. Once you yourself are "in" and can say you reside in TC, you will appreciate such scrupulous attention to detail.
Trophy Club Neighborhoods
Repeatedly placing in the top-10 "best places to live in DFW" (that would be Dallas/Fort Worth) Trophy Club is comprised of several very nice neighborhoods. Especially if you are looking for a luxury home for rent, here are two to check out.
Highlands at Trophy Club: This upscale destination is located in Northwest Trophy Club. The first homes were built in 2008, and construction continues. Besides being a golf ball's throw from Trophy Country Club, this neighborhood features jogging and bike trails and a cool kid's playground.
The Knoll: This gated community of half-acre homesteads dates back to 2003 and continues to grow. Median home prices are high. Sizes are large (4,000 to 6,000 square feet.) Let's just say this is a really nice place to live.
Living in Trophy Club
Present or past Trophy Club residents read like a veritable who's who of the sports world (Larry Hardy, Former coach of the Texas Rangers; Tommy Maddox, former Pittsburgh Steelers QB, and Tyler Collins, former Detroit Tigers outfielder) to name a few. Astronauts (Wally Funk), actors (James Hampton), and assorted notables from all walks of life have called Trophy Club home. Just think--when you move here, you could run into just about anyone while you're lunching at Vinny's Italian--a popular Trophy Club eatery.
In case you missed it earlier, golf reigns supreme around Trophy Club. There are plenty of opportunities to partake at the Trophy Club Country Club and its two lush golf courses (one of which was designed by Ben Hogan himself.) The convenience of living near the club (which also offers tennis, swimming and all the other amenities you'd expect) is the big draw for many residents. Still, there are a _few _people who don't golf or belong to the club, and who still love living here. OK, way more than a few.
