Chehalis is a city in Lewis County, Washington with a population of 7,259. It's a friendly and fun-loving small town with a vibrant history and a quaint downtown area. The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum is a beautifully restored 1916 steam locomotive that you can hop on to take a scenic tour through the river valley! In order to stay in line with their green initiatives, Chehalis has put in a new walking and biking trail system in town and in the countryside to encourage more people to walk or bike around town and for exercise.

If you like fresh greens, head to the Community Farmer's Market during the summertime to get your fresh fixings for dinner. Every year, the town hosts a Santa Parade in December to get people ready for Christmas! And you certainly don't want to miss the city's Garlic Fest & Craft Show, which is held every August. There you can sample everything from garlic cheese to garlic ice cream!

You can even drive out to the water and take in some of the beautiful landscape and shoreline views from Willapa bay and Grays Harbor.
