Waupaca is a welcoming city of a little over 6,000 residents. It is located near the center of the state of Wisconsin. The unusual name is thought to have been given to the area as a tribute to Sam Waupaca (Chief Wapuka) of the Potawatomi tribe. The countryside around Waupaca is scenic and beautiful and residents of the community can enjoy the countryside by doing all kinds of recreational activities.
