"Our host, Trupti, would always respond quickly, she's a super host for sure. Her property is lovely and clean and safe and looks just like the photos, but the location is what really sells it! We parked our car out front and left it there while we were able to explore and enjoy Boulder on foot. What a joy it was to have a home base that felt like home, while being able to get everywhere so easily. Restaurants, shopping, hiking were all walking distance. If we went back to Boulder, we would definitely stay here again."
You are an easy 2 block walk to Pearl Street where you have a plethora of hip cafes, incredible dining, chic boutiques, high-end retail as well as bohemian gift shops and cool consignment stores. You can also find great live music and the Pearl Street Mall. Close to many fantastic hikes, Boulder Creek, Chautauqua Park, and great skiing day trips.
Your apartment is in one of Boulder's lovely historical landmark buildings. It is recently remodeled, with refinished hardwood floors and is newly furnished. Comfortable and chic.
Outside-The porch in front of the building is for your private use. A lovely spot for morning coffee or meals. The porch is covered so is shaded and protected from the elements.
Bedroom-The bedroom has vintage Ralph Lauren wallpaper, room darkening drapes and bay windows with view of the garden on the west side of the house. Your bed is queen size with a super comfortable memory foam mattress. There are extra blankets in the walk in closet.
Living Room/Pull out Sofa Bed-The living room is bright and cheerful with a wood burning fireplace, smart TV, sofa that pulls out to a queen sized bed, room darkening drapes, freestanding air conditioner that is very quiet. You will find all the bedding for the pull out in the walk-in closet.
Kitchen-Fully stocked kitchen is beautiful, bright and sunny . The dining area is surrounded by windows for lovely views. Includes a new gas stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave.
Workspace-There is a desk in the living room for workspace and high speed internet.
This home is a historically significant landmark in Boulder. The original parts were built between 1884 and 1892. It is in the Colonial Revival style and has rounded portico with columns (front porch), bay, dormer and reverse Palladian windows, stone sills and decorative brick work are just some of the unique architectural details.
