She is quite accomplished and has been an instructor for a children's coding camp for several years, was the senior software coding course curriculum writer for San Diego Unified School District's computer science program, and the summer after high school she completed an internship as a contributing member on a small team researching epileptic brain scans which was led by a Microsoft Research Foundation researcher in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins University's department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics.
