To start off, this place got bought out. As soon as they got bought out, within a week, the new company ripped down trees and bush that was habitat for local animals and bugs, shade and play areas for children in the community, and honestly shade for our cars. They are never in the office. There is one person who answers the phone, and one person only. If another person answers the phone, they cannot do anything to help you. The pool has been closed so much throughout the summer that we barely got to use it. They did "renovations" to our apartment while we were still living there. They got paint on my rug, and broke a picture frame that I have had since a child. They took over 2 months to fix a toilet and didn't even realize they had missed us. They also lied to us and said that we wouldn't be responsible for the 2 months of stalled utility payments while they were transferring over to a new system. I have on video of them admitting to lying about it and now I am stuck paying hundreds of dollars that they told us we didn't have to save for. The location is awful, at least for us. The school is right there so there is constantly traffic, on top of always having to sit at a light at the entrance of the apartment complex. They constantly send out threatening emails, one time even saying they were going to go through our trash and if they found mail they were going to charge us 150 dollars. They have said that we can't keep anything other than patio furniture on our patios, no toys for kids, no storage for shoes, etc. The parking is awful, there are so many reserved parking spots that I can't even park near my apartment. And they are slowly gaining more and more, they just add signs to regular parking spots so there is less and less parking over time. Not to mention, its 40 dollars per car, per month. That is downtown prices for parking and we are in Okolona. Overall, I just wouldn't live here. Don't be enticed by the size and price. It truly isn't worth it. They have taken over a week to give another apartment complex a rental reference. Even saying that one of the people on our lease didn't sign the lease ending paper, when we were all there and tehy told us to all be there to sign that paper. So I am stuck because they won't give my new apartment a rental reference so I cannot get approved nor denied. Please save your money, time, anxiety, frustration, and efforts, and just go to another place. I wish it were better.
