Presque Isle, Maine, is the commercial center and largest city in thinly populated Aroostook County. The census data reports that the town's population is fewer than 10,000. (There are college fraternities with more people than that!) The city is home to the Northern Maine Fairgrounds, the Aroostook Centre Mall, and the Northern Maine Regional Airport. You'll love living in Presque Isle. The residents are hardy, friendly people. They actually have a sign posted in the town (which is basically like a Facebook status) that reads, "If you have time to complain, you have time to help; Contact your local club." Aroostook State Park: Property is hard to come by down here by the beautiful state park, but no matter whether you live here or not, you'll probably want to spend a lot of time in this part of town! There are some nice subdivisions near Spragueville Road worth looking into!
Town Center: The Center of Presque is right where Route 163 and I-1 intersect so it's super easy to get in and out of town if you live around here. It's also quite close to the Northern Maine Regional Airport. It's the busiest and most populated part of town so it's a great place to look for apartments to rent.
Northern Presque Isle: The northern part of the city is pretty sparsely populated, but you can find a few stand-alone homes for rent along the quiet country roads up here.
