You'll need a car to venture outside of this idyllic place but after sitting in traffic somewhere else, you'll be glad to get back home to Wadesboro. You'll be drawn in by the charm of both the people and the town. The locals are proud and people who live here rarely leave except for employment opportunities. Antiquing and perusing the shops in uptown can take some of your time and some of your money, but it's a leisurely way to enjoy the day. Stop in the local winery and enjoy the newly renovated historic Belk Building. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing and picnicking in the surrounding parks within the county. Because of the Wadesboro's smaller footprint, a day is all you'll need to sightsee, but beware: Wadesboro might just capture your heart.
