Bushwick is a trendy neighborhood with lots of bars, restaurants, art galleries and music venues. The neighborhood also has plenty to offer families, with great pre-school options and plenty of other child-friendly activities and events. We are less than a 20 minute ride to 14th St Union Square in the heart of Manhattan.
Spacious and versatile, our home can be used for a single family or for a family with a live-in relative or nanny. The top floor has two bedrooms and two baths (one ensuite in the master bedroom), a large kitchen with eat-in bar, and a large open dining room and living room with an exposed brick wall. The top floor also has hardwood floors throughout. The garden level has an additional two bedrooms and one bath, a kitchenette (optional) and a large living space. We are the owners of this beloved home, where we lived for over 8 years. We started our family in this home and shared the duplex with our three children and my parents, who we were so lucky to have around to support with childcare. We are both public educators.
We relocated to another state with my parents to be closer to my brother. We have invested a lot into making this house a beautiful home and hope to find tenants who will treat it with love and care!
The space was rented to a lovely couple with 1 child for 3 years. They are relocating to be closer to family as well.
