Known as Buffalo's first suburb, the Village of Kenmore was incorporated in 1899. Louis Eberhardt is considered the father of Kenmore, and was against naming the town after himself. He was the one who was responsible for buying up all the farmland, and turning it into a suburban development. The first school was constructed in 1892, named the Kenmore Union School and was built where the Municipal Building now stands. Once the Washington School was opened, the Kenmore Union was no longer needed.
For such a small town, there's lots to do in Kenmore. With 20 public transits, you can go anywhere and do anything.
