Off-campus living is a rite of passage for Penn State undergraduate students, and this large 4-bedroom, 1.5 bath house on South Barnard Street is a classic college residence in a desirable location - just 5 blocks from the Penn State University Park campus and Old Main lawn. The monthly rent for this unit covers more than half of the unit's utilities, including water, sewer, refuse, lawn care and snow removal. Tenants are responsible only for electric and gas (heat) and cable and internet if desired. Parking is also available on-site for an additional yearly fee. Inside this attractive 2-story brick home, you will find beautiful interiors and spacious living. Bright interiors lend a coziness to the living spaces and with 4 bedrooms, it's possible to have your own room at last! Outside, there is a modest front and backyard, ideal for hanging out with roommates, housemates and friends. In fact, with on-site washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal and central A/C, this unit just may have everything you're looking for in a student rental. Though campus is 5 blocks away, you are already in downtown State College, where you'll find restaurants, coffee shops, stores and services all the way down Beaver and College Avenue. The nearest Starbucks coffee on the corner of Burrowes and College is approximately 3 blocks from your door. If you're team Dunkin instead, it's at the end of the same block. Action at the center of town includes bars, dining, nightlife and more! Additionally, 234 South Barnard is a subdivision of the larger building, which includes additional units in 234, as well as units in 236 and 238. And whether you know the neighbors, or have yet to meet, you have built-in friends just feet away.
