The major thoroughfares that connect Alcoa include U.S. Route 129, which is also known as the Airport Highway and Alcoa Highway, travels from Alcoa to Knoxville. The TN State Route 335 connects the city with eastern and western Blount County. Interstate 140/Tennessee State Route 162 links the city with west Knoxville and Oak Ridge.
What do folks in Alcoa do to keep themselves busy? Though there's not so much in the way of activities in Alcoa, there are a few dining establishments that entertain the locals very nicely.
