With 7,633 residents living right next to Lake Ray Hubbard, Heath is quickly growing into a thriving and vibrant destination for newcomers to the area. Heath was named after one of its earliest settlers, John O. Heath, who moved to the area back in 1846, but it would be just over a century before the city was finally incorporated in 1959. At the southern edge of this neighborhood, you will find the Rush Creek Yacht Club and the North Texas Sailing School a stone's throw away from that.
