The city is home to a number of parks and open spaces, so grab your Frisbee, pack a picnic, and get set to enjoy! Hooper Park near the city center is a popular spot, although locals also head for Meadow Creek Pond Park, and Emma Russell Park on their days off -- both are just a couple of miles from the city center. The community has a number of schools in the city center such as Hooper School, Freedom School, and Country View School, as well as those which are further to the south of the city such as West Point School.
