History The Apple Knoll was built in 1830 and first used as a sheep farm. It\'s a Georgian style timber frame house with views of the West River, shire of Weston, and Mounts Tabor Mansfield and Equinox. In the year built, Merino wool prices spiked to 50 cents a pound and VT experienced the Great Torrent, the worst flooding in a century. Over the next 30 years VT saw its first railroad, spread of the abolitionist movement, a booming economy first in agriculture then forestry mining and manufacturing, and outbreak of the Civil War.

Gatherings involving third party vendors or visitors outside your occupancy limit \"might\" be permitted, but only with prior authorization.
