The 640 Place is a shared housing community featuring 52 private rooms with 2 shared kitchens, 18 shared bathrooms, a laundry facility, dining area and we’re located right in the heart of Tacoma off of bustling 6th Ave. If you are someone who is looking for a house type of setting/small number of people to share housing with, this building would not be a good fit as there are between 40-50 renters at all times. This room has a 1/2 bath that is rented to the resident on the other side for a higher rate to have exclusive rights. This is our smallest room available.

The 640 Place caters to a variety of lifestyles and offers something for everyone. We are pet free, smoke free, drug free and are managed by Apple Realty who has been in business for over 40 years!
Requirements are as follows: Income=2x the rent Pending charges or felony convictions involving sex offender registry/crimes against children will not be considered regardless of date of conviction. No pending felony charges or convictions for, arson, manufacturing/distribution of drugs, assault/domestic violence towards other tenants, landlords or employees within the last 7 years per WA state allowable law will be considered. 600 credit score (medical/student loan debt exempt). No evictions/outstanding balances to other housing providers. Co-signers are welcomed with income=4x the rent and 700+credit score.
