City Guide for Fort Lupton, CO

A trading post was built in 1840 on the Adobe Creek starting what would become the town of Lupton. The trading post was built by Lieutenant Lancaster Lupton and, you guessed it, the city was later named after him.

To many Fort Lupton, Colorado doesn't seem like much. It is only four square miles and a measly one percent of that is water. But to the 7,377 residents that live in Fort Lupton, the nearly 175-year-old town is much more than a dot on the map. This rural community has the beautiful South Platte River to admire. It also anchors Boulder and Longmont, two of Colorado's largest cities. However, if you really want to get crazy, you can try out the town's recreation center. This isn't your ordinary rec center. It boasts a massive 139-foot water slide that has produced some of the biggest screams in the state's history! If you want to experience bliss, Fort Lupton is the spot to do so. What to keep in mind when looking for apartments with garages in Fort Lupton, CO

Fort Lupton apartments with garages are sometimes more expensive than other options. However, they may make more financial sense in the long run.

Weather, break-ins, and daily struggles to find a space can take a toll financially and physically. Remember that even cities in mild climates experience issues like salt air, tornadoes, hail, falling branches from storms, and other issues.

It’s also possible to score an auto insurance reduction if you park in a garage. Ask your insurance provider about any deals or discounts that could trim money off the cost of your monthly bill.

Before signing a lease, ask the landlord or property manager about any restrictions on garage use. It’s important to know if there are enough spaces for tenants and visitors and what happens if the garage is full. If you’re moving into an apartment inside a home, ask about any conditions on its use and if storage is allowed.
