This place lists incorrect amenities. There is no central air conditioning, no apt controlled gas heat, NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL AT ALL (new residents were told there is and they clog the pipes), website states no dogs and no pets over 15 lbs. but there are so many dogs moved in this summer and massive ones that poop on the lawn. I paid $600 to have my cats here but dog owners don’t pay for pets that are technically not allowed. I moved to an apt complex that only allowed cats to avoid this issue.

There is major issues with mgmt and maintenance. This apt does not have air conditioning even though it is advertised as such. We have one window unit so only the front of the apt is livable in the summer. One bed residents sleep in the living room in the summer because the back bedrooms are so hot that you can barely get dressed in there and out before you are panting for breath and soaked in sweat. In the winter there is barely any heating (maintenance provides space heaters cause they know it’s so bad). The heating is not controllable by residents as the building was an old HUD building. So the thermostats don’t actually control the heat but we pay for the heat. The maintenance staff got changed because the last guy was stealing residents’ mail and walking in on women unannounced but at least he knew how to fix stuff. The new maintenance guy could care less and argues with you that the problem you ask for help with doesn’t exist. This causes issues and multiple apts had mold and those residents were not helped and bullied into leaving. The new maintenance does not announce at all if he is coming in and will use his key to randomly enter your apt or slam on your door angrily for random entrance with no advance knowledge of him coming (even an email would do). Mgmt also sends 3rd party men like this. Random men are in my apt with vague descriptions a lot (upper neighbor thought my cats were mice so I came home to a pest control already in my apt spraying). I own cats, never saw a mouse and have health issues. This place also has mostly older people who sit outside and do whatever they want. Yet I took a Zoom call outside my apt and the police were called cause a new older resident I never met said “I was bothering her and she didn’t think I lived there and she was scared”. I was taking a Zoom call with my boss outside cause this lady was so loud all day. People move out of here so fast as well that lady was gone in a month. Mgmt does not care who lives here and moves in all kinds of questionable people. All the great and friendly neighbors moved out this year when mgmt raised rent $400 more a month. New neighbors litter and park in others assigned spots. Another issue is cops are here at least once a month around 2am. Once a girl was threatened by her ex and was being beat and cops were outside detaining him and he got away and it took over an hr to go back to sleep. An older resident set off her life alert multiple times at like 4am and refused to answer her door and another older couple gets taken on a stretcher at least once a month late at night by ambulance. This is nothing compared to the mold issues, plumbing issues and issues with drugs being used all over the property. I’ve lived here almost a year and in the last six months this place has gone so downhill! If I was able to see the apt at move-in I would never moved in. This is section 8 housing for a premium price!
